#CSAM23: What you *Really* Need to be Doing to Land a Job Outside of Higher Education

  • transform.forward (map)

Imposterness is a psychological phenomenon plaguing every area of our lives - and it disproportionately affects people who want to change careers during their job search. Let’s talk about it. During this session, we will talk about what imposterness is, why it manifests in society, and how it's preventing you from getting a job outside of higher education. This session will unpack the personas that show up most frequently in our application materials and what we can do differently to position ourselves as the best candidate for our next role.

Disclaimer: In addition to her own lived experiences, Nicki talks about this topic through her lens as someone who pivoted outside of higher education after applying for 350+ jobs. Her session is *not* on behalf of or representative of her employer.
